How it Works How it Works

Easysystems Automatic Gate Openers either work on a single or double RAM or SLIDING system depending on the gate type and/or space available.

Solar PanelThe gate opener can be powered by either using a solar power panel (pictured right), popular on farms or long driveways, or run off the main house power supply.

To use the gate opener all you have to do is press the entry transmitter in your car (similar to a garage door opener) and the Automatic Gate Opener will open your gate. Once you exit, you can close the gate with another press of the remote, or it will close by itself 60 seconds later - so you´ll never accidentally leave it open!

How does the system open and close?

Swing gate openers are electric arms that move in and out of the main opener body. This is attached both to the gatepost and part way out on the gate itself. When the remote is pressed the arm moves, so swinging the gate on its hinges to an open or closed position.

Sliding gate openers have a motorised gear wheel that moves the gate left or right at a right angle to your driveway. The gate runs on 2 wheels and a track just like a train. The power is transmitted from the “motor gear wheel” to the gate by following a “gear rack” that is mounted on the gate.

Each of the systems have a control panel which is mounted at the gate - this is for receiving the signal to open the gate from your car remote or via the keypad. It also has an intercom system so guests can page you for entry.
